Body Contouring

360 Liposuction and BBL

A 360 liposuction and BBL combines liposuction around the waist, flanks and back with transfer of the collected fat to the buttocks to change shape and projection. It is a significant surgical procedure carried out by a qualified surgical team, and suitability is assessed individually. It is not a weight-loss treatment. Your surgeon will explain the proposed technique, where fat is taken from and placed, the expected recovery and the alternatives before anything is agreed.

Concerns it may address

  • Localised fat around the waist, flanks, back and abdomen
  • Buttock shape and projection
  • Overall body proportion

Why suitability matters

Not every treatment is right for every person. During your consultation, your clinician will review your medical history, examine the area of concern and discuss whether 360 Liposuction and BBL — or an alternative — is appropriate for you.

What to expect

Consultation

A private discussion of your goals, history and expectations, with time for your questions.

Treatment

If suitable, your treatment is carried out according to your personalised plan, with your comfort prioritised.

Recovery & follow-up

Recovery typically involves compression garments, several days of limited movement and a staged return to activity. Sleeping and sitting restrictions are usually required after fat transfer to the buttocks; your surgeon will give written instructions.

Potential benefits

  • A plan tailored to your anatomy, goals and medical history
  • Results that aim to complement your natural features
  • Ongoing clinical support and follow-up

Limitations

  • Not a treatment for obesity or for weight loss
  • Change depends on your anatomy, skin quality and health
  • A further procedure may be recommended

Risks

  • Fat transfer to the buttocks carries serious risks, including fat embolism, which your surgeon will discuss in detail
  • Bleeding, infection, fluid collections and delayed wound healing
  • Asymmetry, contour irregularities, numbness and scarring
  • Variable fat survival, so further treatment may be needed
  • Risks related to anaesthesia and to immobility during and after surgery
