Aftercare & Recovery
Postoperative Aftercare & Recovery
Postoperative care is planned around your procedure, current recovery and the instructions provided by your treating surgeon. Whether you were treated at Elixir Clinic or elsewhere, an assessment can help identify follow-up needs and agree recovery support. With your consent, we coordinate with treating surgeons and other specialists where appropriate. New or worsening symptoms may require urgent assessment rather than a routine appointment.

Concerns it may address
- Postoperative assessment and follow-up needs
- Recovery planning after a procedure
- Coordination with a treating surgeon or other specialists
Why suitability matters
Bring details of your procedure, discharge instructions and medicines. Your clinician assesses which follow-up needs can be supported and when your treating surgeon or another specialist should be involved.

- Healing times vary and complications cannot be prevented or excluded by routine follow-up
- Some needs require urgent or specialist care
